I've been couponing for about two years now. I'm using the whole insert method. We use "milk crates" purchased at Staples and plain old manilla and file folders. I put the date on the file folders and then the name of the insert on each manilla folder. My only problem was when to pull out the expired ones. I found a site in a google search called Coupon Cleanout (www.CouponCleanout.com) and its been very helpful in that last respect. I select my state and it shows me what inserts are safe to pull out. Thought I'd pass it along for any other "whole insert" filers.

Thanks so much for all of the info! I am new to couponing and am learning new stuff everyday. Every little tip is helpful. I can't wait to learn it all and be able to cut back on my shopping trips while still stock piling. It is such a rush when you start seeing your pantry multiplying while still saving money.

I am brand new to this concept of couponing and this site is amazing!
I was finding it hard to keep everything in order and finding the coupon I needed when I was at the store. I have two small girls and I am usually on barrowed time when we hit the store. I am going to plan ahead and get organized. Thanks so much for your insight and tips!

Yes - my Publix takes printed Target coupons because there is a Target nearby and they're considered a competitor. In the next county over not all of the Publix stores take them, only the ones closest to Target so check with your store. If they're considered a competitor then you can stack their qs with manufacturer qs.

You can always "stack" store coupons with manufacturer coupons, which allows you to use two coupons on the same item. For example, I bought Clorox toilet bowl cleaner this week and stacked a manufacturer coupon with a Winn Dixie store coupon since Publix considers them a competitor. You cannot stack two different store qs (a Publix and a Winn Dixie).

i have a couple questions for an expert couponer:
Does publix take printed target coupons?
also, can you use multiple coupons (looks like you do) for one item?
IE: buy one item - lysol toilet cleaner - can I use two lysol manufacuture coupons on that one item?

Thanks a bunch!
