I was thrilled to get to try the new Hillshire Farm Grilled Essentials during the BlogHer conference back in August before they came out in stores and I’ve been not so patiently waiting to have some again because they are fabulous!  You can prepare these fire grilled boneless chicken breasts in the microwave in just 60 seconds and they are juicy and very flavorful.  They’re available in four varieties - Garlic & Herb, Italian Style, Lemon Pepper, and Grilled Chicken Breast.  I’m so excited that Hillshire Farm has just released a new $1 off coupon for any package of Grilled Essentials on their Facebook page because I’m guessing that means that we’ll also be seeing some sales soon   Head on over and ‘like’ their page to grab your coupon.  Here’s the recipe for the scrumptious looking sandwich in the photo above:

Garlic & Herb Chicken Pesto Ciabatta Sandwich
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 1 serving

Ingredients:
1 Hillshire Farm® Grilled Essentials Garlic & Herb Chicken Breast
1 ciabatta roll, split
2 tablespoons prepared pesto
2 lettuce leaves
1 slice mozzarella cheese
4 slices plum tomatoes

Directions:
1. Heat chicken according to package directions.
2. Spread both sides of roll with pesto.
3. Fill with lettuce, cheese, tomato and chicken. Serve immediately.
